DCE runs straight past lots of players...he's very elusive.

He went flying over the sideline in the 9s.
Maybe someone explained it all to him after that.

I reckon Evans will prove to be close to useless.

He's big. And that's about it.

He's half the player Nappa is.

Someone should pin this post to his locker on Friday night.

He's a different style of player.
He's gone ok so far in FG.
              Give him time.

He needs to bulk up quite a bit if he's going to be a prop...which he'll likely do in time.
Established props cost a lot more.

As a young prop Kane has a very tall mountain to climb
the journey to establish himself & gain respect amongst his peers is a long, tough experience & takes time
Along with the dark arts learnt with ball in hand & defence, not showing pain, not giving an inch

Not fair to pass judgement on a prop till they are well down the track with at least 50 games under the belt

Potentially he has the goods, hopefully he develops well

His game against the Bulldogs is his biggest challenge to date, those mongrels will do everything they can to undermine him, good luck "undertaker'

By all means, someone do it.

I'd be the happiest man in the world if he proved me wrong.

That's a bit harsh of an assessment for a kid who has only featured in 3 games. I don't think we will see the best of him this year but after another offseason and a bit more bulk added to his hulking frame he will be much better.

I would expect Kane to have 10 -12 games this year. It takes a bit of time for players to get comfortable with the speed of 1st grade.
I would say Casty and Liu would be in front him when they are fit.

Shut down Hodkinson and we have a chance.
