Was telling Fitzy about the video last night,.....he was very humble about the address and even more surprised that so many people have seen it......

He is such a wonderful guy he even thanked us for attending his farewell dinner......We are sure going to miss him, until he returns, and he told me he really wants to come back to the Roosters and repay them for all they have done for him......

talk about an upside down world. I would think he has repayed any debt to the Roosters a long time ago

I've never met and spoken to Fitzy personally so I very much appreciate the kind of insight you phantom, and others, bring to this forum. Just when I think my estimation of Fitzy can go no higher you come on here and tell us "he really wants to come back to the Roosters and repay them for all they have done for him ..." This man should have been held on to for dear life by the Roosters as such as him are few and far between.

He is seriously one of the most humble and honest men I have even met, and the song that Lopini and Mickey Paea sang to him, brought tears to our eyes and the entire rooming singing..."There goes my Hero watch him as he goes....There goes our Fitzy watch his as he goes".......

Correct...no better player to blood youngsters with in the same team...he sets such a high standard and it is what they need to aspire to...one more year wouldn't have hurt the club...

In hindsight I think Fitzy had one year too many......not because he is over the hill but because he was a part of such a ****ed team this year
