warming up for the season
Good win an expected one a few little rusty spots but nothing to worry about .
Mini continues the Glory road with a clean sweep .The props were awesome.The poms had a go, had a bit of sting in defense early on ,spread it a few times to stretch us and show us up but they just didnt have our speed , size and skill.The young Burgess kid from Wigan would go alright in our team one day.
Jake friend was exceptional as was Moa and JWH and Jennings is a freak couldve srored a few more.
Not a bad game for a first up.
Pappa Giuseppi Mini -7 - Gotta love him brought his little bubba for the game .he was cool a few early season dropsies but cant knock the Warrior.
Erkel - 4- The ol SKD show was on as usual did ok here and there nothing there I wish .They wacked him again but no broken jaw.
Speedy Gonzalez-9- was s every where scored 3 nearly scored 3 more .He is unreal Thank you Penrith..does any one know who stole my car at the fan day?Jenko is ours.
STSAE -4- Still prefer him from the bench but fills in at center admirably.
Bean stalk- 6- Good player who some times needs some winding up expecting plenty from this youngster Toups .
CCM - 7 - yeah thats right the real Clive Churchill medal winner .Malones showed glimpses of last years form the poms were struggling to keep him in check -great player Malones.
Sucko Daddy-8- I have a comp and you dont . Pearce was really strong first half directing traffic.Slowed up a bit second half but understandable this time of year -good all round effort from Pearcey
Social Malaka -6- played strong etc was a bit of a wank at the fan day not so kind to the kids .Cords dont bit the hand that feeds you .Good player other wise.
Zorro -7- Whats with the goatie and mo dude ?was always dangerous and trying things but was clumsy as well -hurt his kneww early in the game which put the boy off -no probs from SBW .
Fatso -7- Has put some of that size back on ...could be dangerous for us this year if he produces week in week out FPN is my big question mark for the season.
Norman Bates-8- you can only love JWH he is my fave.The poms gave it to us early and he hit back with sting and put them in their place.Love him
Angel-9- what a great busy game from our hooker.getting better with every game ..from villain to hero in recent years the nEXT CCM winner who will probably get ripped off by Mcarthy Souffs.
Moa Constrictor-8- Its players like Moa that make this team ..never stops scored a try with out him and Jared up front we have fark all. another fave.
Boy George -7- another fave of mine Guerra ..great player but whats with the Boy George hair do?.Played up the middle on saturday and gave it to em.
The Napperizer-8- He strikes again .. He evaporated another Good luck Pettybourne and enjoy your plane trip to the old dart with your arm in a sling. He will become the Fans favourite .Takes them out legally when any bastard messes with us and got SKD revenge for him a champ in the making
Snails -7 swear to god he was munching on snails in the dressing room Ol Remy - I think he have a work horse here all is ok.
ol' Blue eyes -4- This kid needs to run more he has the pace the step but tend to try to belike Jake may be its the coaches instructions usually handy off the bench is Morts
Cant remember the rest alzheimers settling in
Back to back isnt out of the question for this team with a bit of luck with injuries.....Manly will fall out they lack props. Melbourne -getting on a bit now but have a good coach that keeps them up there. Souffs .. like it or not they will be there. The surprise packets could come form the Cowboys and Perith .
enjoy the season now remember the braindds prayer at the Budhist temple in China last year 3 comps in a row and lots of dough .Enjoy the season should be good.
