Pick the starting Line-ups.

Hey guys, to prevent a new squad being posted every few hours, how about we make a little competition between the Rooster fans.

The game is to pick the starting line-up which will appear in Round 1.

Every member posts a team 1 through 17.

A point is added by picking a player in the right position.

For example - if you believe a player will start in the front row but come Round 1 he is on the bench, you receive no point.

Players numbers don't count - eg you pick Aubusson to start at no.3 and he starts at no.4, IT IS STILL CORRECT AS YOU PICKED HIM AS A STARTING CENTRE

At the end you will get a score out of 17. I'll post everyone's scores in this post.

Person with the highest score will get bragging rights or even if the mods can help out with some sort of a mini prize that would be great.

Where are you going to play him ?

Assuming Symonds is on the bench ( which he should, still very young and new to 1st grade) he is taking up the utility bench position as he is able to play backrow, centres and halves.

Jones is too small for a centre.


...but hey, that is my opinion, who knows what squad BS will pull out come round 1 ?

Can you edit your team once you've named it - ie to take account for injuries, departures etc?

Well, i think it's more fun to do it if you name it and stick with it without editing it.

I'd say our roster is 99% complete anyway.

It'd be good to let it run all the way until the trials.


We'll see who was closest to the mark in times of speculation.

is there any reason why you haven't picked friend at hooker. I thought he was one of the three standout players this season along with perret and fitzy
