Excellent work as usual Roosterman. Loved that you manage to incorporate Freddy in the clip. Bring on 2014. Keep them coming.

Yeah, nice one Roosterman. I can clearly see where you're aiming that one! *cough*Roosters marketing*cough*.

But seriously, your choice of track is diabolical. If you want some hop-hop for your next vid, pm me. The track you chose was toy.

I have been doing videos for years, First i did them for boxing and now the Roosters, one thing i have learnt is that the music i choose (no matter what) will never please everyone. Me myself i dont listen to hip hop at all but this song will please a wider audience.

                But thanks for the feedback.

absolutely. Here's one (not a Roosterman) with That's My Team as the music, and someone thinks that using that song ruined the video

Look, without denigrating Roosterman (who I think is very talented - and I know as I direct guys like him for a living), it's not correct to think that choice of track will neither make nor break a motion edit.

Choosing the right track (and cut) is as important as any other aspect of the creative treatment. Just like having an eye for typesetting and knowing when to use effects, choosing the right track and knowing how to then edit it is critical when it comes to creating a narrative.

Excellent work. Personally I prefer no music, just the commentator & the cheers of the crowd in the background, but hey, everyone has their own taste. Nevertheless, an excellent vid. Can't wait for the '75 clip.

I COMPLETELY agree!... Music is THE most important thing in a video, It projects the tone and feel i am going for, and usually is what sets myself apart from other editors as i choose music to create a certain emotion instead of just using my fav song. You watch my Mini Tribute vid you will get a feel of Nostalgia mixed with Legacy, you watch my Fittler intercept vid the music i use makes you even MORE invested in whats happening in the video, You watch my "We embrace your hate" vid and the music creates a "up yours" to all our haters.... I KNOW how important music is to a video but as you said a couple posts back this vid is more of a "Marketing" style video, that is why i used a main stream song to create an energetic type video for the membership drive.

But all in all, as i said earlier I will NEVER please everyone with my song choices.
