That was an absolute $hit performance from the Voda puff cakes, no organisation in the halves, predictable forward play with one up trash.

The only thing accomplished by the locals was to lull the poms into over confidence.

Our under 20's would have performed much better, some of the fear & loathing comments in this thread had me in fits.

Complacency went out the window following that performance, our D will win this comfortably & our halves will provide the master class.

I am not one for outlandish predictions mate but if you play like you did in that first 1/2, when both sides played their stronger lineups, we won't need to get out of second gear. We will punish your mob, Greeds is right.

The side you played was reserves and U20s. Their first graders struggled last year.

Defensively alone I seriously can't see where you will crack us.

Maybe we will be rusty. Maybe. That IMO is the best you can hope for.

Cos if we click, even for a half of footy, youse will get belted heavily.

And if we smell weakness we will be ruthless.

I dunno mate, some of the soft tries The Wiggles conceded early up the middle and on the edges were just that, soft.

Sure it's just a warm up as you said but seriously if we click we will destroy their fringes with Boyd and $BW and Che and Maubs.

And I don't see our defence allowing what we saw in the second 1/2, a game of tag.

The Worriers kids were woeful especially out wide in defence. Even SKiD on a bad hair day isn't that bad.

IMO if we can't gauge something from that game, well The Wiggles can't either, other than match fitness.

It's not over confidence or cockiness.

As I said earlier, defensively alone I can't see where they will crack us.

I hope it's a good tight game. But if we click it could end up embaressing for The Wiggles.

I for one cannot see Wigan really getting near us if we bring our A game to the WCC, if we don't bring our A game it could get interesting. The only waltzing down the right Wigan will be making if we turn up is Waltzing right out the door with their tails between their legs if we turn up to play and execute accordingly.

The jump in class from a predominantly second and 3rd string New Zealand team in a Mickey Mouse trial game to a hopefully (injuries permitting) full strength Roosters team in a game a real consequence is like having scaled Kosciuszko and then attempting K2. The second half was played against virtually a team of kids (NYC cup defence???) so how can you put a rule over that form????????

The weather conditions will also not be so kind in late February here in Sydney it will either be very warm and dry or wet and humid or just plain humid.

Good luck Wigan! I respect what your team has done in winning the SL in UK but to beat us I think you are going to need it.
