I watched some of it...saw NZ score that try next to the posts with strong runs up the middle.

Wigan could be just be having a warm up run...not showing all their tricks.
They're not the Superleague champions by chance.

This is today...next week is next week.

There's no one much in the crowd today...just a trial.

              Our biggest enemy is complacency.
Hopefully we'll win and win well, but we lost some matches last season by thinking we just had to run out on the field to win.

We were well behind in the GF...three tries scored down the wing against us.
Stewart the FB in to make the extra man, Manly scored in the corner, time after time...easy.
Watch Wigan try the same thing...with Superleague's leading tryscorer flying and with Matt Bowen at FB.

Wigan coach must have told them to go to NZ wings against the inexperience players.
                Nz 22 Wigan 20

                Looks like a serious trial..

If our right hand defence is still as bad as it was in the GF, Wigan will have a field day waltzing in for tries.
It must be that time of year again.......

We are talking about the right side defence of the team that won the comp? The one that only conceded 2 tries against the team with one of the best left side attacks in the game?

                  Thought so.

                            We are.
Our right side defence simply didn't get across fast enough...well except for in the final seconds of the GF.

                            Home game against the Storm.
                            Home game against Souths.
Both losses, tries scored down that wing.
                            etc

Most of the time RTS was caught out, well in field.

Hopefully the final play of the GF is indicative of the future...SBW, Mini, Pearce from memory, stopped the attack about to score another try down that wing.

                              Looks like its game over?

Wigan looked to have found some form, defensively strong..
