He was on the 20m line where as Mini was on the goal line, looking over your shoulder as you've got to track back is one of the hardest things to do when taking a bomb. Mini was behind the ball the whole way and it nearly hit him in the feet when it landed.

It's Minis catch every day of the week.

Mini was a little uncharacteristic... not bagging him but he bombed a try (after putting himself in the position to be fair) and screwed up a couple of catches.

We won! So long as he doesn't do that habitually I don't care.

        • Looking at the reaction of both Mini and Tupou when that try was scored, I'd say Tupou called it or something and then backed out of it, which put Mini off. So even if it was Minis catch, once Toops called it is effectively his. As for Minis other drops, hopefully they were just a bit of rustiness on his part. I think it's a positive sign that he got into those try scoring positions, and the more he plays the more he will be able to take the catch and score the try hopefully

          • A ball is dropped in a trial and we have our first inquiry of the season.

            Sack Mini and DoubleSteamer.

            Rush the great Moga back.

            And RTS to FB.

            You know it makes sense.

The SuperMegaResherveGraders will save the day.

            The FlogPen .

            You know it makes sense.

            • Wigan forward Eddy Pettybourne has been charged with a grade B dangerous tackle on Sydney Roosters winger Shaun Kenny-Dowall during the Super League champions' World Club Challenge match in Sydney.

Pettybourne, who arrived back in England with his Warriors team-mates on Monday, was put on report for the high tackle two minutes before half-time of Saturday's match, which Wigan lost 36-14.

The former Wests Tigers player, who missed the second half of the game at the Sydney Football Stadium with a bicep injury, has until 11am on Tuesday (2200 AEDT) to submit an early-guilty plea and avoid a hearing

                    • Was there a match day program available to purchase at the game?...
I know the promotion of the game was pretty slack so just wondering...

                          Apparently there wasn't mate.

A few of the Wigan fans wanted to get a program, and were bit unhappy when there wasn't one. Would it have been too hard to print something up? It's the first time this game has been held over here for 20 years.....

It's a complete balls up if you ask me and they have missed a chance to make a considerable bit of coin. I would have bought at least 3 for friends back home if not more and I would a say more Wigan fans would have been in a similar mind. I can't remember the last time that I attended a Wigan game where there wasn't a programme on sale, if ever.

                            • Pretty ordinary but not as bad as the trophy presentation, that was a disgrace. We really are shit at that type of stuff in this country, the English/Europeans do it so much better.

Also I think it says more to the fact for Aussies it's really seen as a glorified trial, which is sad.

It was nice to have it here but I think it should stay in England, they treat the game with more respect and it means more to them.
