  • 2014 Membership Help

    Afternoon chooks!

Just wanted some general help around which membership option to go with. I'm stuck between Chookpen, Gold and Silver.

In your opinion which area has the best atmosphere and seats?

Also I want to be as close to the action as possible so does that cancel out Gold all together seeing as they are behind the silver seating or are they still great seats just undercover ?

And should I really be concerned about undercover seating and is it worth the piece of mind when it comes to wet weather whilst at the same time forfeiting seats closer to the sideline?

Any insight would be much appreciated!!!

    Cheers guys

Undercover seats at the SFS are still very good, close enough to the game and you've got decent elevation to see everything.

You can't go wrong with any of those memberships but in terms of atmosphere The Chookpen would be the way to go. Lots of chants, banners, flags etc etc.

Silver, gold and Chookpen all offer you seats in between the two 40m lines so you're gonna have a good seat regardless of which way you go, as for the rain I guess it just depends how much it bothers you. Personally it's never been much of an issue for me, just bring a poncho.

      If you're getting reserved seating.....give rows A - L a miss.

Don't worry about the rain unless you're made of sugar.

Last year was my first year as a member, and I got Silver seats that put me right behind the opposition teams bench.

I was close enough to the action to see the expressions on players faces when someone like Michael Jennings blitzed them with his pace, or when JWH put on a good shot.

Thankfully, I didn't have to worry about rain at any home game, but then again, it is just a bit of water.

I recommend silver. It's affordable and close to the action, and despite what others have said, you CAN see everything going on.

Get a flexi membership, gives you entry to any 4 home games you want.

I imagine it'd be difficult getting to some of the Friday & Monday night games.

its not much of a problem getting to the games, its the times the games finish that is a bit of a worry, catching trains home at like 10 pm at night is pretty shitty, though I could always stay the night at a hotel but if I was to get a membership, ill be joining the chookpen, the experience would be unreal

Either your girl loves rugby league or you wouldn't know a relationship if you tripped over it on your way to buy a jersey...
