Willis Meehan is an absolute beast but will be interesting to see how the Commonwealth Games prep affects his footy this year, already towers above SBW as an 18 y/o, if he can keep his temper under control could be absolutely anything in rugby league but is prone to giving stupid penalties, wide running backrower would seem to be his perfect position.

MacDonald needs to show more urgency in his football can be brilliant when up and going but can also be lazy and prone to silly mistakes, he has certainly grown over the last 12 months, the coaches need to convince him to use his size/power.

Hastings is probably going to be the long term replacement for Morts that bench utility that can play dummy half/halfback/fullback if required, this season is all about getting minutes under his belt and learning our systems and structures, he has an uncanny ability to be in the right spot at the right time, really good support player.

Taane Milne is a quality youngster in heavy demand from both Union/League, one of the few young outside back that has a really good defensive technique, would of played NSW u/18 last year if not for union commitments, unfortunately you get the feeling this will be his last year in league and will be a waratah next season.

Brendan Elliot was called up to the emerging QLD camp during the offseason after really starting to impress towards the end of last years NYC comp, best known for his ability to break tackles.

Robbo/POS have a really tough choice coming up regarding our backline in 2015 and beyond with Moga/Milne/MacDonald/Reuben/Elliot/Rokolati all fighting for the spot vacated by Mini's retirement and RTS's shift to fullback, with quite a few of these guys off contract in 2014 it will be interesting to see who is still around in 2015.
What makes you think Milne will head to Rugger next year?

I know there were worries he'd go this year but seeing as though he signed with us I thought we had him for a couple of years at least.

Fletch, read the papers the ARU are broke as a joke. He would be on shit money if he went over there.

The bottom line is if we want to keep him we will.

Uncle Nick and POS don't lose the ones we want to keep.

        Thanks for the report Gman.
I had heard a bit but not much as people seemed to just say it was quite ordinary.
Interesting re RTS's brother, he must have trimmed down a lot in the offseason which is great.(yes he is SG Ball age still)
I am really hoping the club looks after Alex Thomas, he is a good player and a top kid.
I think Taane will stay with the Roosters providing POS is not too much of a dickhead and the club is not complacent about keeping him. He is the real deal
The Internet is a place for posting silly things
Try and be serious and you will look stupid

Agree re. Alex. Player's player last year so he has the respect. Really made the 9 shirt his own by the end of the year too. From all reports a great kid who really wants it so I'll be cheering him on.

As for Milne, I think we all know he has it. I'm sure he'll be looked after.
