  • 3rd February injury update

This was just posted on the roosters website.

    Roger Tuivasa-Sheck
After fracturing his right fibula in the opening minutes of the 2013 Rugby League World Cup Final, RTS has been kept on limited duties throughout the Off-Season and only returned to training in Week 1 of the 2014 schedule.

RTS last week, at the Squad's Coffs Harbour Training Camp, returned to running duties.

It is still expected that he will make a return to play in Round 1 of the 2014 NRL season.

    Shaun Kenny-Dowall
SKD last week returned to a full training load for the first time since breaking his jaw in the 2013 NRL Grand Final.

    World Cup Representatives
Australian and New Zealand representatives, along with Skipper Anthony Minichiello, last week returned to a full training load for the first time this Pre-Season.

The group were given an extended break following the 2013 Rugby League World Cup.

strange they don't have Moga on the injury list, earlier in the offseason the official twitter feed said he was on track for a mid season return, and then last week RTS was tweeting about a joint rehab training session he had with TauTau and that he was tearing up the track and couldn't wait to see him play.

just counting forward from his last knee reconstruction which was performed in july, would put 9 months around april, so would expect to see him in jets colours sometime around late april/may.

Man management will be the key to any success in 2014.. I believe we only need to make the top 4 with all hands on deck for the finals, I would even go as far as to say top 8 with everyone available for the finals could see Easts go back to back..

Top 4 would probably give us the highest chance of winning back to back.

If not too many injuries during the year, we have a great chance.
