I spoke with Ryan Williamson yesterday and he was jumping out of his skin with the changes at the club. He said everything seemed to have changed for the better. "Everthing is far more organised and professional" were his words. Smith has made a very big impression on him.

Now this is the kind of thing I like to hear. Positive stuff murry and thanks for sharing it with those of us who have no direct links to the club and its players.

I cannot wait to see how Ryan goes next year based solely on the character attributes that you've previously described he possesses. Tough and uncompromising - I like the sound of that.

I got the same from several players as well. That's great to hear. I was told the coaching staff have everything organised until the season starts and there's a positive vibe around the club and the players.

How can you acount for Anastas obessesion with the bomb last tackle option? The coach has either condoned it or is to stupid to shoot him

It was the most likely way for us to score. We are a disorganised rabble without Pearce.

Neither Carney nor Anasta seem to be organisers. Both are 'off the cuff' players when Pearce is there.

And we weren't making the ground needed for him to bomb properly. Most bombs seemed to come from over the 40.

Smith has been fantastic so far.. He has barely half a dozen players of First grade ability at the club so you have to consider that.. Apart from Pearce, Carney, Maubs, Graham, JWH, Myles and Ryles, most of the rest would not get a run elsewhere.

Most of that team is park football standard.. Ben Jones, SKD, Jake Friend, FPN, Paea, Anasta, Koops, Mini, Perrett etc etc are NSW Cup standard at best.
