On a serious note, do you believe that smith can change the culture. You harp on about the behaviour of certain players (most notably pearce) so do you think smith can turn this around? Personally, I have every faith in Smith thats why I think we need to let go of some of this stuff. As much as I agree that the 'its masons fault' comment is getting repetative and stupid, I think that the reality is that the side is extremeley young and these young 'trouble makers' have not yet skirted into really really serious offences as yet. Therefore for mine, because they are still young and maturing I think the 'let kids be kids' policy loosely applies and with someone like smith at the helm who has made his name as a bloke that doesnt take any crap and gets the best out of his bunch - look at his noname newcastle team - thats what I think he can and will do. Some may call it blind faith or gullibility but I think on track record he has the capacity to do it and because these kids are kids, if they can mature under the guidance of smith without the bad influence of mason and co - he has not matured and his presence itself is damaging - then I think we are on the right track

As much as i do not rate the guy, this club needs him to get his game face on and perform and earn the mega dollars he is on, if we are to truly move forward.

FORAN IMO IS IN THE TOP 3 OF POTENTIAL SUPERSTARS IN THE MAKING.In most of the games he has played in 2008 he was close to manly's best .we would be crazy not to have a stab at him.as far as poor behaviour goes he will be another year older by 2011 when he is availlable so hopefully that together with our new stricter culture we can turn him around.every club will be chasing this kid.he will be the games next superstar.at the very worst we should make sure manly don't get him cheap which would mean that 1 or 2 current top players will go.its a win win he is also a top class centre as well as a 6.
