Williamson pootential from what I have heard and saw on the youtube vid but we are asking a hell of a lot from a kid with only a handful of NYC games
Jones maybe although looks a bit average from the little I have seen from him.
We lost Tupou,Shillington,Roberts & Foley from last year and gained Tansey
Thats 3 proven 1st graders and a fringe player gornski and probably a fringe player gained.
Toupo is replacable, Sa and Cherrington are our future there.
Shillo is equally replacable. Shack will be fit this year, he offers as little. And FPN got more expierence last season.
Roberts never played his best footy for us unfortunatley. But there are apparently some decent kids with plenty of pace waiting in the wings so to speak. I will conceed we will miss his goalkicking backup
Foley hasnt been used for a couple of seasons. Im hopeful Perrett or Tansey can fill the 1 role if Mini breaks down again.
Remember Sa, the Aubbos, Cherro, FPN, SKD even Perrett all gained some valuable expierence last season. Perrett especially in rep footy.
Its not all doom and gloom. Had we even heard of SKD or Cherro b4 last season. They came on really well. Some kids just need that chance and thats what hopefully a few will get this season.
The FlogPen .
You know it makes sense.

But I agree with Wally, only a handful are really quality or better than what we have at the club now, IMO.

2 things.
we will struggle in the first 3-4 rounds.
its the 1st time in 10 years that we have been under or on the salary cap
we just finished last season, paying off,FLANNERY,tODD pAYTEN,Brett Firman etc etc etc.
its the first time that we have started on an even keel.
Just remember that we will not go anywhere the premiership this year.
maybe 2010/11

There really isn't too many players we have released or lost that I think are huge losses.
Sure Topou is a loss and I still think Roberts is as well, but other than Hannent and maybe Stranger the others we have released really haven't gone on to do anything (Soward has but I think Pearce is better).
I think the club has done a good job in getting our team to where we are at the moment, and in the next three years we will win another competition.

I'd take him over Mason or O'Meley anyday

That kind of expectation will only lead to disappointment IMHO.
Toops and Amos are losses with conditions as both ran hot and cold which means the Roosters will miss their good parts but not their bad parts.
I would REALLY like to see Soliola shut the doubters up and if he does I think the team will go better as a result."The price of freedom is eternal vigilance."

A REAL hooker who just needed a break at this club.
JOrbs is a half playing hooker but I hope he goes like gangbusters this year."The price of freedom is eternal vigilance."
