I am still on a high from the GF that I find it hard to worry about this year just yet.
Lucky I'm not a player or on the coaching staff as I would be well and truly asleep on my laurels, not just resting.
Maybe when the 9's start and I see the boys in action again I'll be able to start thinking about 2014.

im putting money on either tigers or eels making the 8 this year, knights making the top 4, storm not making the top 4, dragons for wooden spoon and the mighty roosters to make the top 4 and go back to back
was born a sydney roosters fanatic

Put your money on the Roosters, save your money on the other things.
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

        Here's looking at you, kid.

I have not had time to look at the draw closely enough to see who plays who twice to tip them in order after 26 rounds but my top eight are

            rabbits
            roosters
            warriors
            storm
            cowboys
            knights
            panthers
            eagles

            * Panthers will make top 4 - they have bought well. Peachey is an x factor and will thrive under Cleary. Cleary is an outstanding coach . Their 20s won the comp last year and Gus has turned the front office around completely. not sure soward will last year as a starting first grader though .
            * Cows will be huge improvers this year - they started slowly due to internal issues but won their last 5 games of season proper and then were robbed when bundled out in the finals . Teams that finish well in prior season is a great form line for following season. JT was the golden boot winner and awesome in WC. Coote will be a good replacement for Bowen and King is a real key . They struggled last year with Segeyaro and Payne both missing . I think they can get to the GF
            * Roosters - the players will have huge belief after shedding the bridesmaid tag last year and are not any weaker. injuries are obviously key as well as the Origin fall out . Not having to travel for the WCC is a huge plus . No reason we can not make the big dance again but we may struggle to make top 2 again in MP due to the shocking draw during origin where we have no byes.
            * Warriors - they will improve enormously. Elliot is a query as coach but I expect Tomkins to kill it running off the Warriors second phase play. He is one of the few genuine match winners in the comp and we saw what difference that made with SBW
            * Sharks expect them to struggle due to coaching issues and Fifita off contract and potentially going to Rugby
            * Rabbits - they will only lose a couple to origin and mage gets them to play consistently so they should finish top 2 but will choke again - they only have the one big play with GI sweeping in from the back .

True but knights also finished full of running and won two finals matches away. They then had no chance vs us when they lost buderus. They impressed me when we beat them up at Newcastle.

Bennett does not let players go he wants to keep. Gidley back is a big plus and if he wanted to buy players he would have. The one negative is losing packer unexpectedly given he bases his game plans on power

LOL! will Gids play more than 5 games in 2014? Bennet has had players at his disposal in the past, Bennet is a myth!

The NRL doesn't want him to win it! They are so corrupt, they penalised him out of the comp.
