  • foundation cup??

Is the foundation cup canceled this year? Surely it would be with our strong congestion, with the wcc & the nines..

Given we've got 11 days after the WCC to prepare for our Round 1 game I would think so.

I believe the club are looking for a trial the week before the WCC game (also the same week as the Nine's tournament) which may be hard. If it was the Tigers it'd be a very depleted side full of reserve graders/20's players.

I've heard the WCC will be the only game they play prior to the 1st round game against Scoufs.

If we did want a decent trial before the WCC, it would have to be the weekend before the 9's tournament. The only team available for that weekend is the st merge dragqueens.

Looks like we dive head first into the tough fixtures without any trials.. nines will be used to showclass our younger exciting players ( and of course freddy), then we challenge wigan for the wcc, straight after that no mucking around, we face souffs for the season opener...
