What I find amusing about all of those who go into hysterics about not wanting Ferguson at the club Is the majoprity of them were the same ones that didnt want either Carney or SBW here

Another difference is that Friend did NOTHING wrong. Friend, Earl and Pearce were all arrested. Friend was slapped with a false charge that was not held by the court. Hard to believe I know but being arrested doesn't mean you've done something wrong...

Fergo on the other hand was pictured out on the roof drinking cruisers with Tatman rather than training (so was always a dropkick). He has also been convicted of sexual assault, DUI and driving while suspended so is a criminal. Currently he is awaiting sentencing (i.e. is trying to convince the court that he shouldn't spend time behind bars).

Friend actually does have a court conviction or two against his name - at least one DUI (early 2009 when he was suspended for 2 weeks by the NRL) and then the drunkard incident after the 2009 season involving a taxi driver and the police which was the catalyst for him being punted from the NRL for the first half of 2010.

Congrats to Jake for turning his life around, but there's no denying that he's spent a fair bit of time before the courts in the past.

Two things which I am against on this thread are comparisons between Friend and Fergo on playing ability and comparisons between what Fergo did to what packer did.

Friend and Fergo play completely different positions so you just can not compare the two as it is like comparing apples with oranges. Both are bloody good players, Friend 2nd only to Smith as being the best hooker in the comp and Fergo in the top 4 centers in the game.

I want it made clear that I do not know the 'full facts' of the incident involving Fergo (it is probably a safe bet that no one else on here does either), but from what I can tell, what he did was an attempt at trying to pleasure a woman in his dumb and misguided way. What packer did was just about attempted murder by king hitting a guy and then continue striking him in the head repeatedly until he fell backwards and was "motionless" on the ground, where he punched him in the head again and stomped on his face. You just can't compare the two acts. One act was downright dumb and misguided performed by someone who is known to be not the sharpest tool in the shed. The other was a downright violent act by an animal!

There is no disputing what an extremely talented player Fergo is!! We will be cashed up in 2015 with the departures of SBW, Mini and possibly SKD, so we will have the cap space available. We will be losing huge X factor in SBW, and Fergo is an X factor player who can help to fill that void. I have little doubt that Fergo will be back playing league at some stage, most likely in 2015 and when he does come back I have no doubt that he will be back better than ever, tearing opposition teams apart and go on and play for NSW again and for Australia!!

Ever since Fergo's incident, he seems to be trying very hard to make amends, I give him credit for that. He acknowledges that alcohol is his problem and has now made the sensible decision to quit drinking. I am more than comfortable with leaving the decision up to Robbo. Always remember T.I.T.S, Trust In Trent's Strategies! I am willing to back Robbo if he decides to not bring Fergo to the club, even though I want him at the club as he is an incredibly talented footballer, a real excitement machine!
By the same token, those who do not want him at the club should just leave the decision making up to Robbo and accept it if Robbo decides to sign him up!

This Fergo conjecture could drag on for most of this year, so there is no real point going on and on about it going over the same old stuff. We should just not worry and forget about it, let time run its course and leave it up to Robbo to decide.

I just found out that the pamfers have swapped Brad Tighe to the titans for Idris. pamfers certainly have the better end of the deal there! Idris would be on more money so don't know how the pamfers have pulled that one off?

If that was the case and it was my daughter I would be bitterly disappointed in her putting herself in such a situation and acting a like a tart at a nightclub! I admit I would still be pis$ed at Fergo if that was my daughter for being an idiot. The thing is though it was not my daughter, she is an adult, no one was hurt so I don't really care!

Where are the people jumping up and down about what ben teo did to that woman with the badly swollen black eye?? I consider that to be much worse!! How he got away with that was a disgraceful joke!!

What gets me are the people on here trying to make out as though Fergo forced himself on her, rap.ed and then murdered her and must be sentenced to death.

As I have said before and will say again, I am just happy to leave it up to Robbo, as everyone on here should!

At the end of the day, there is no cct footage or any other evidence to prove that fergo did touch her on the ....... Its her word v Fergo's and until it plays out and the investigation is complete, we shouldn't throw stones..
