ROOSTER MEMBERSHIP for 2014

Just checked out the Roosters website and it shows that only 7,900 people have signed up as members for next season.

What's goin on?...we won the comp this year ...we should have at least 15,000 members......

For anyone who has not yet joined up...now is the time........how about a Rooster membership for Xmas present for a friend,son,daughter,aunty,uncle???......we need more people at home games to support our team.....to chant in one voice to provide encouragement........these blokes are spilling blood for us......

For our club to prosper and develop we need signed up members......no excuses about how hard it is to sign up or gripes about people not ringin you back to explain what to do.....an intelligent 6 year old can sign up online

I'm waiting until before the season starts due my work schedule. I'll probably only get the 4 (or 6) game pack, since I'm a jinx. If I stay away, watch a St George of old like dynasty start!

There's no real incentive to join now. Apart from maybe being able to buy tickets for the WCC. (Even though many non-members got their hands on the 'secret code' to buy tickets despite not being members)
I have joined but would not have been any better or worse off if I'd have joined in the first week of March.
Also don't the players call potential members to sign up just before the season starts? This is good incentive for people to hold on so they get a player to call them.
Either way membership is a great thing and I hope we get 20,000 next year.

By any chance was this thread started by someone working for marketing?

I have a sticker in front of me promoting "Freddy's 5000". We'll reach the 20,000 target this year, so I reckon we've come a long way.

I'll be signing up for my 13th consecutive season in Feb.

As for our numbers, we're now over 8k and almost 100% up on this time last year so we're actually doing very well. Traditionally the rate of sign ups picks up afte Christmas so I reckon 20k is achievable.

I am a passionate supporter who wants all those fence sitters to get off it and commit.

if you are a true supporter you are a member ...no excuses

The club will flourish with passionate, committed members who get other people to join...

if every member got one new person to join we would have 15,000 members...
