  • Catalan Dragons sign Michael Oldfield

Catalan Dragons have today signed Sydney Roosters winger Michael Oldfield on a two-year contract.

Oldfield, 23 years old, made his debut for the Manly Sea Eagles in 2010 where he played 24 NRL games and scored 14 tries before moving to the Sydney Roosters last year where he struggled to cement his place in one of the best backline in the world, scoring a try in the only game he played last season.

“The signing of Michael is a great news for the club. He is a young and fast player and his pace will be a great value in our backline next season. We lacked of pace in the past seasons and the addition of this player will allow us to fill this gap.” Laurent Frayssinous, Catalans Dragons headcoach.
