Was waiting for a release form Bradford. Signed mainly for Newtown as Jake's replacement/depth with Morts staying as the Utility

Strange signing given we have Friend and Mortimer, however he is a very good footballer and a perfect replacement for Mortimer if he leaves.

I think it's L'estrange we didn't see this coming.

I doubt we'd sign him unless it was in our second tier cap, especially with Morts/Nafe (?)/Blackman here for us.

I can see him signing for Parra/Sharks/Knights who need a hooker. Most other club would see him as a L'estrange signing.

Is the club preparing for hopefully a proper reserve grade next year? If so, a good move, premiership winning hooker, good back up, an experienced head for reserve grade which will more then likely be dominated by the classy 20's players of this year
