To love Easts is to hate Souffs

At a football club, there’s a holy trinity – the players, the manager and the supporters. Directors don’t come into it. They are only there to sign the cheques.

The fireworks at the Easter show are making more noise than the crowd tonight
Poor bloke. He goes to the Tigers and their long serving 5/8th leaves for less money to play Rugby Yawnion. Talk about getting a complex. He's a good bloke though.
My 8y.o son put one of his Roosters caps the other day and my wife said 'You can't wear that one, thats actually signed by one of the Roosters Players. He turned around and said 'Don't worry mum, its Brath Anasta's signature. He didn't win the grand final.' Gold.
Agree 100%
The guy did his best and it wasn't all down to him...If anything I think Smiths tactics which just didn't work for us. I wonder how many cheered Anasta when he kicked that field goal in the semi in 2010 to take the the game into golden point v balmain? In fact I watched those highlights of that game the other night. Our 2013 team is much better than the 2010 team who lost the GF. That's all!
For all Braith's flaws (that get pointed out regularly on here) he did captain our side to a Grand Final in 2010 which was without doubt one of the most enjoyable years of footy that I can remember.
Yes Carney was great that year and so was Pearcey and so were others, but Braith played a pretty important role too.
And that Finals game against the Tigers, surely that has to be at least in everyones top 5 games of all time? And in my opinion, that field goal has to be up there as one of the biggest plays ever.
Anyway, haters be haters so fire away

You are kidding yourself if you think we would have made that GF with Anasta at 6
Great FG though

In the context of the game and where it was taken from that was probably the best field goal in the history of rugby league.
I can't think of another that was as good. Someone else might be able to but I certainly can't.

I do though get what you are saying Cooper Cronk in 2012 oriigin game would be up there very close
