  • Do trial games count as caps for the Roosters?

If so, if Mini can have an injury/suspension free season next year he'll be set to overtake Ricketson as the most capped Roosters player (275 caps + WCC, 2 trials and 24 competition games = 302), even more if we make the finals.

I'd love to see this happen, Ricko was a legend, but I think Mini may go down as one of the most important players in Easts history; most tries for the club, most caps for the club and captaining a team to one of it's most successful years ever (potentially back to back), Mini deserves to go down in history as one of the greatest clubmen around.
I support two NRL teams, the Roosters and whoevers playing Souths

If Mini plays in all regular season games (24) and all Final games (4) he will have 303 appearances.

    WCC & Trials don't count.

What a clubman and after being inspired by Roosterman's tribute to Mini I will say that he is the greatest clubman ever... I love him.
Go the Roosters and go Mini. For me greatest clubman = greatest player

considering he was out for 2-3 seasons with that back injury caused by the dog luke MacDougall dumping him on his head in a souffs game his achievement is remarkable

            FWIW...

'MacDougall would have copped a 14 match ban if he had decided to contest the charge and lost, but an early guilty plea gave him a 25 per cent discount, reducing the sentence to 10 matches.

The Rabbitohs can include two NRL-sanctioned trial games next year in his suspension, meaning he will return to action in round seven of the 2006 competition.'

So the NRL counts them as games apparently?
