The DT has had it in for the NRL ever since News Ltd backed out of the show and Gallop got rissoled. They take potshots at the game at every opportunity and jump on every bit of negativity they can find. They are all over the Wanderers and the A-League and keep writing them up as much as possible. There will be an article within two weeks highlighting how well the A-League is doing and at the same time taking a crack at John Grant and the NRL and the way they run the show. They are cut up because they no longer get the scoop on the NRL like they did when Gallop was boss. Its showed in the way they have been frozen out of the biggest story throughout 2013 which was SBW and the Roosters. I used to buy the DT every day, now I buy the SMH because its reporters are less agenda-driven then the DT's and there is more semblance of truth in their articles.

On SBW....I'm waiting for Paul Kent's next story. Watched him on NRL360 a few weeks back where he said it was 100% locked in that Sonny would be playing rugby next season, that he had played the Roosters and the NRL for chumps and used us to make a bit of cash in between World Cups. Good read Headless. Agree with your sentiments. They dont have a clue. The Roosters have matured as a club since Robbo arrived. They seem to have a good grasp on how to handle the media now.
