Blake Ferguson WILL be at the Roosters next year.

I'd have confidence in the Roosters/Robbo would get the best out of Ferguson as a player and a person I just don't understand why we need to/why we would. We have 2 good centres, SKD has been good a while now after his admitted lack of confidence and even more so he just played a grand final with a broken jaw, he's been here for a while now and only ever played for the Roosters.

What does it say about the culture Robbo is building to replace him with Ferguson of all people?

I can understand the associated risks with signing Ferguson, however if he did come good and stayed on the straight and narrow we would be close to unbeatable with the likes of Ferguson, Jennings, Williams, Cordner, Friend and Hargreaves in the team.

It just doesn't add up for me, Robbo has shown enormous loyalty to the players who have been the backbone of this club. Why would he now swap a popular player like SKD for a troubled player in Fergo, it just seems to undermine everything he's stood for and implemented so far.

Moving SKD on is one thing, tough decisions need to be made and sentiment put aside but to be seen swapping him for Ferguson just doesn't make any logical sense based on the way Robbo has operated up until now.

I can see where you are coming from R6, I see it as Robbo backing himself with the culture that he has developed at the Roosters to get the best out of Fergo.

As we have seen with Friend and a few others at our club turn themselves around, Fergo can do likewise.

Fergo is by far the better player than SKD. Our main weakness in defense this year has been SKD, and he hasn't exactly set the world on fire in attack this year either. A great team has helped out big time to help make SKD look better than what he is. If SKD was at parra he would be struggling hugely!! The raiders have been crap this year and yet Fergo was still able to stand out like he did against us.

When SBW leaves we are going to need all the fire power we can get, and Fergo certainly helps to provide some. SKD just shoots blanks ever since 2010.

Yes, and i believe this is the most likely scenario.

Fergo would not be able to command much money for 2014 given the fact he just didn't turn up to games that his coach said he was fit for. He will be on very little next year and play for a rural club like carney did. No impact on SKD or SBW.

In 2015 SKD is no longer under contract, and anything could happen. He may even get moved to the wing with mini gone. Also in 2015, there will be salary space given that SBW will surely be in NZ rugby.

I see this as the safest option for the roosters; we lose nothing by taking him next year and sending him to a rural club on little money.

i've heard the same mail. hopefully he comes with the right attitude. we all know he has talent. jenko and fergo would be one of the all time great centre combos!

I don't believe he will be on the same money as he would be at raiders but if they sign him up they will probably give him a year to see how he goes

Doesnt he have a rap sheet which he has to front court over, that may leed to a bit of jail time. Then he would be useless as a signing
