When BS was shown the door, i really didnt care who got the job. It just gave me a sense of calmness. I didnt know who Trent Robinson was? First impressions were, yeh, he looks alright. He has really grown on me throughout the season. and he seems like a real nice bloke. Today, i dont want anyone else but Trent Robinson. Thanks dude, youve made me and a lot people very, very happy.
Cheers to you for many, many years!

That's true. I can remember everyone lauding Ricky after we won in 2002, he was the messiah, Rooster legend etc etc By the time he left in 2006 many were highly critical of him, couldn't wait to see the back of him.
We'll have to wait and see in a few years time, but I just can't see Trobbo going the same way, seems to have a better temperament, repour, better people skills than Sticky.

Ricky always had that arrogance about him. Seen it on a few occasions, his tolerance isnt too crash hot. lol

Have to agree. Impressed me at the members forum a couple of months back; clear goals, astute assessment of his player group, has plans for a more open playing style, he mentioned that he would like to get the Roosters playing fast open football over the next 2 years.

Yesterday he spook to my 11 year old grand daughter and remembered he played against her father and Nathan Cayless at school and later in grade footy, spoke to her and told her that her dad was a good footy player and that Nathan had text him a few times on Sunday to congratulate him on the GF win. Very impressive individual, sign him up for 10 years stuff the cost.

Can't wait to see what he and Taylor can do with our attack over the off season. Obviously we need to keep working on our defence to maintain such a high standard. But last off season we didn't put any focus on attack. I expect RTS to be integrated into the attack slowly next season after a lot of work on attacking combinations between him and the halves.

Also excited to see better use of Tupou in the air. And a more creative kicking game in general. Will be nice to see the development of some of our young players into semi-regular first grade. Napa will step up to regular first grade I'd imagine. Kane Evans should get a taste early in the season and I think he'll be a monster after a few weeks of first grade. Getting he and Isaac Liu involved in a bit more forwards interplay will put holes in a lot of teams. Even Willis Meehan I believe will get some exposure to first grade if he plays enough footy early in the season.

Samisoni Langi is an exciting prospect and will benefit greatly from the world cup. Played in the right position I think he could be very effective in first grade surrounded by a bit of experience. Tupou will only get better. Moga will be back, hopefully his defence improves within our structure because he would add so much in attack both close to the line and through kick returns.

Cordner at full fitness, with his shoulder and foot back to 100%. That's a scary thought for opposition teams. Guerra is looking Cordner like.

Remi Casty looks very mobile in attack and if Sam Moa is anything to go by we should have one hell of a tight forward rotation.

I can see Friend and Pearce improving even more, with particular respect to their kicking games.

And our discipline can't get any worse.

Very exciting year ahead even if SBW is not to re-sign, which i truly hope he does. Get on Mitchell Pearce for Dally M I reckon.

Watching the boys dump the Gatorade on him and then embrace him like a father said it all to me.

We got very very lucky with this bloke. He is special, the type of guy who will coach us for 10 years.
