I think this team has swept all before them as Parra did in 1986, we are up there with the great Parra teams of the 80s !!!

That was massive!!!

My view is this was also one of the most difficult, competitive seasons in hostory. The top 4 were all equally as good and no 1 team came forward as being invincible.

Most of the top 8 were also capable of winning and had a core group of star players.

Our boys have been the most penalised, doubted and criticised team in history:
- HEY SONNY!!! YOU AREN'T TOUGH ENOUGH TO LAST A WHOLE SEASON IN THE NRL!!! - BULLSH!T!!!
- PEARCE AND MALONEY AREN'T REP QUALITY HALVES AND ALWAYS CHOKE UNDER PRESSURE!!!! REYNOLDS AND SUTTON FTW!!!! - BULLSH!T!!!!
- YOU'RE TOO OLD MINI, RETIRE AND STEP ASIDE FOR SOME CARNT LIKE DUGAN!!!! - BUUUUUULLSH!T!!!!!!!
- JENNINGS IS A TROUBLE MAKER WHO DRINKS ALL THE TIME AND WILL FARK THE CLUB OVER BIG TIME!!!! - BULLSH!T!!!
- MORTIMER'S SHYTE!!!!! BRING IN CHRIS SANDOW AND PUT MORTS DOWN TO PARK FOOTY LEVEL!!!

The list goes on but I've enjoyed all of the hate because all it has done is inflate the egos of the wankas lining up for other clubs. GI's cocky 'conductor' attitude during Origin summed it all up... while he was doing shyte like that, the 'arrogant' SBW was in the training sheds with the boys working his @ss off. Boys like Sonny came in with working class, team-focussed attitudes and got the job done.

The victory is sweet because nobody ever rated us or admitted that we had the goods to go all the way. This win was a shock to the NRL and the grubs who talked us down all season. Well deserved and a MASSIVE finger to those who have farked us over the past decade.

Even if SBW leaves I think we're in a good position to go 1 more round next year. We've finally setup a culture of exciting footy that attracts star players and wins games. At fan day somebody yelled out 'WE'RE NOT GRUBS ROBBO' to compliment his coaching style/the team culture.

Can't think of many teams who have beaten such a tough competition without resorting to any grubby tactics (e.g. Storm/Manly style tackling) or boring footy that p!sses everybody off (e.g. St Merge). We did it with an exciting, positive style of free flowing football. Couldn't have asked for more from all the Roosters family!!!

I feel a lot of teams will now be coping us and our simple tuff brand of football and will try to duplicate to trust the team has for each other
