I think it's pretty obvious that all of us on here want SBW to stay next year, think there is anything we can do to help persuade him to stay? Like maybe a dedication video on YouTube or some persuasion letter we can try and get to him, or something?

Very admirable indeed of your forethought , however let's all be thankful for his massive contribution to an amazing year which culminated in a premiership. Who would have thought that at the start of the year after the clean out of the dead wood name Brian and Braith! Certainly not me. After seeing Braith with the microphone by the sideline I looked to the heavens and thanked The Lord for all that we have and for moving on the cup muncher
If sonny stays brilliant but if he goes let's all just say thank you for the legacy.

took it down after very little reaction and realising ultimately it wouldn't have made any difference, was just high on victory and perhaps a little ambitious haha. Would be happy to get it back up and running if people would be keen to get behind it but I think we all know there's only one man who will be making the final decision...

After seeing that great piece on the Footy Show, I wrote to the COO and suggested that, as an incentive to stay, the club might offer to facilitate the creation of a charity, The Sonny Bill Williams Foundation. Sonny is clearly a person who wants to make a difference and this would be a fantastic way for him to use his superstar status for good. I suggested that the Roosters donate the gate takings for a specific game (say Roosters v Bulldogs) and generally help to promote the charity. I reckon there would be many League, Union and other sport fans willing to donate.

I never got a response. Oh well, it was an idea anyway...
