It was not a problem that followed us into the finals
Penalties were 12-5 in the semi final against Manly.

      I rest my case.
We have seen so many penalties given throughout the year for exactly this.
Not a peep out of anyone over this deliberate tactic.
You're allowed to tackle a player in the air if he's an attacking player.

youre right, you were dreaming. The count was 4-4

True, but I guess the ref played advantage and we scored ?

He's already in England. I believe he now follows the Wigan Warriors - wait for it.

He'll end up the biggest jinx of a fan if he keeps this up.

Lol, the moment he made his comeback this season you could feel the vibe.

He is our good luck charm, HughieBaby.

I'm still shocked. All year we get walloped in penalties then the finals begin and we start getting a fair go? With finals footy the entire country's watching so they couldn't pull the penalties on us like they did all season. Refs were being watched after 7th tackle try and even dumped. So they had to be FAIR with us for a change. How sweet it is!!!

When I saw it live I thought forward but after further viewing I reckon it was ok.

The refs did have a few very ordinary calls but in saying that they did even out over the game and I dont think any team got preferential treatment! The better team won in the end. My Dad is a Souths supporter and his opinion was that the better team won on the day!

I could be wrong on this but in the case of toupo being tackled without the ball, could it have been a possible 8 point try. I thought that was the case if a penalty was given during the act of scoring a try. Not they they are ever awarded... just curious is all

Have seen 8 pointers awarded for incidences like this.

                                A lot of inconsistencies.
