How the hell does Tamou keep getting picked for rep footy?

He must be on the selection panel.

+1. They should recover from a tough season and be ready to win the club challenge and to defend the title.

Not entirely his fault but agreed...

Granted he'll probably play out of position (on the wing) I saw a number of better wingers last night alone.

Tupou, Taufua, Wolfman, Mini, Stewart... can't really say Hayne has had equal form to any of the above this season.

IMO we do sorta go with the 'safe' options which is a pity because we're strong enough to make a few risks/changes and still win.

JT's comment that the NRL was corrupt and had rigged the comp so that Souths and Roosters would play in the GF should have had him punted. Quite seriously, would we go any worse if we used Carney/Maloney/DCE/Reynolds instead? I'd be willing to bet that if anything we'd be a better team and it would spark more competition for starting spots. Right now there's absolutely none because 99% of the positions are already spoken for regardless of form. Given that a position in the team is basically a free world cup victory (major stuff-ups aside) I feel we should field the team of the year rather than dad's army.

Hayne was brilliant in Origin 1 and was pretty much injured ever since.

When Hayne is fit IMO he is one of the first picked for rep sides.

Hayne should be on the left wing for rep teams, he's burned our ass in SOO so many times there.

Anyone know the expected recovery time of Boyds shoulder surgery? Given it'll be delayed now because of the World Cup.
