DCS & Foran, perfect halves pairing, BUT

I believe they are exactly how your halves should be, one with flair, one extremely tough and both provide direction. But every 6 and 7 needs field position to shine and score points (obviously). This is the main reason I believe Our Might Roosters are Morals. I can see our forward pack stifling them of field position and Manly getting completely bogged down in their half. The way I look at the 2 packs, it is ridulously lop sided in regards to being able to roll down field. Yes G. Stewart has flair, and Watmough can make metres on the back of a quick play the ball, but I honestly can't see them getting a game to suit. Also, I believe our pack has yet to peak (don't laugh) How long since they have all been together, or even close? By the sounds of things they will be on Sunday, and Wow, what a line up it is, this pack will go down in history. SBW, JWH, CORDS, O'Donnell, Jake, FPN, now Guerra starting to shine. Size, strength, ball skills and leg speed! South's rolled through Manly to get to 14-0 then stopped playing direct and going forward. They won't be so lucky against our pack with Pearce and Maloney barking orders to keep punching through. Basically there best assest I believe will be completely nullified, while our forwards will win us the game!

I think our forward pack will dominate theirs and it should be a cracker of a game. In saying that, though our defence has been strong this year, we have lacked line speed. We regularly let opposition teams stroll an easy 50m down field. This could be a part of our defensive structure, which has been working so you won't hear a complaint from me. But my point is that I think they will have solid field position to test us close to the line.
Cant wait to see JWH and LOD have massive games

Think back a month to the game against Souths. They have a bigger pack with a smarter dummy-half than Manly, yet our forwards rolled them allowing Pearce and Maloney to lay on the tries. Our halves are good enough to finish ANY team because our pack is dominant. A week later DCE and Foran threw everything at us but we held on. We are stronger this time around with the addition of JWH and Cordner. We have no excuses. This is our best chance at a title since 2002. Only a choke will stop us.
