  • I'm not going to the game

I choose not to go to the game as of 3 GF that I have gone, Roosters and non Roosters, I have never picked gthe winning team so much rather stay away from the ground. With that said, i will try and get to Bondi this Sunday to catch the game. Any suggestions on where to go and watch it? Anyone else going to Bondi.

6a gray is my suggestion. Dunno if they're showing the footy but you should have a good time anyway.

Thirteen...if you would have read what i wrote, I have not been lucky when i go to a GF so in case I'm a 'jinx' I rather watch it away. There is nothing more than wanting to be there but for the sake of the team in a GF, I rather stay away...

Watched the 2010 GF at east leagues and the atmosphere was as close to being there as you can get.
I am a bit the same, have been to hundreds of roosters games/finals but can never bring myself to go to the big one.

Me and my lot will be at east leagues again this year when the doors open (around 9:00am)

Yeah I dunno if its a pub dude. Supposedly its a pretty good joint though whatever it is. Ask the Brain. I reckon he might have been.

Mate as has already been said, just go to the game and enjoy it. The problem with your thinking is you will never see a Grand Final victory live as based on your thinking, if we do get up this weekend, you will use that as justification not to go to the next Grand Final and the one after that etc etc..
                    ...

Do you have to buy tickets for the club or only members are in?

From memory you just needed to become a member or have a member sign you in.
The place was packed and atmosphere was great.
Next best thing to being there in my opinion.
After the 2002 gf win the place was crazy so after the game it's the best place to be.

If your not going to game for whatever reason get to east leagues, and if you are going get there after!

To the OP, I missed going to the 2002 GF, then went to the 2003, 2004 and 2010 GFs. I have good reason to think I am a jinx too. Nevertheless, I'll be there on Sunday in Bay 108 front and centre cheering on the mighty Roosters with the hope that for once, I walk out of that fargin stadium with a smile on my face.
