'72 GF half time was 4-4. But that crook disallowed two tries to Coote and Armstrong in the first half, tough calls maybe 50/50 but he was quick to jump in and disallow them.
Then in the second half gave Manly two tries that weren't even close to being 50/50. One huge forward pass in the Branighan try, and Freddie Jones bounced the ball, wasn't even close to grounding ...yet he couldn't get the whistle quick enough to his mouth to award both tries. We lose 19-14 but those decisions absolutley gifted Manly their first premiership.

All the officials took turns in screwing us in 2010, but back in 1972, Page did it all himself.

So just over 40 years on, surely it's long overdue that the football gods grant us redemption for that farce.
I'm sure the late Keith Page will be watching this weeks game from below !

Funny thing with SBW passes, he's actually thrown a few bad forward passes this year and all were the result from a conventional two handed pass. But when he throws the one handed around the body, or one handed flick, they all hit the mark.
He should stick to being unconventional !
