Ok the guy is a great fullback but gees it's annoying when People say that if Stewart played in the semi we had with them then Manly would've won. Really? People do not think that maybe just maybe we would've adjusted our defense to deal with him. If I remember correctly Stewart played against us at the SFS when we tanned their backside. What people never seem to say is that when we beat Manly 4-0 we did it without JWH. They don't think that with him in the team we get much better go forward not to mention the 2nd phase play he creates with his offloads. I say to Manly bring it on. We'll be at full strength on Sunday and so will they, I reckon we'll flog them.

Stewart was never as good as Mini and they are both about the same age these days. Only diff is that Mini's more talented and has put a LOT more effort into his fitness work so hasn't aged as badly (despite his injuries).

My only fear is that we've beaten Manly 4-0 this year (that's 4 games to zip)... it's very rare for us to beat them 5 times in a row. Also it would feel unfair if they did win because of the sheer number of time's we've already beaten them this year.

Other than that... when we've had JWH on the field this season we have ALWAYS been on top of them. The 2 close games we've had have involved JWH being off the field. During 1 we were playing with 12 men (and still won). During the next he was missing and we still shut them out.

IMO Jared has been THE best front rower this season. He's obviously done a lot of work on his fitness/discipline and it's showing. With Jared on the park we will not lose... Souths/Manly have the biggest forwards. We have a mixture of size and brains!

Brett Stewart, Watmough, Lyon and Kite are the players I would fear most on an occasion like this. They have been to many big games and have done it all before. They also seem to step it up during the finals in past years.

I've seen Jennings score a couple of those this year. Also this talk about not being able to win 5 times in one season against them is baloney, Sunday is a new game and the team will be up for it. If we play well we win because we're better than them.

We just need to match their intensity in defence. Their back three looked shaky under the high ball against Souths (A few dropped catches) and on occasions our last meeting and i think we can exploit them if we get in good attacking positions with our wingers play.

I think losing Richard Fao'so for Manly gives them a lighter bench, Burher, Symonds, Rose + Gower (possibly) - Thats a lighter rotation and they may want to play real fast which is against our general philopshy of getting our line set and powering teams into submissing.

They have 3 forwards that are taking pain killers before they run out (Kite , Watmough, Buhrer ). All 3 are playing solid but not the same players when they are fit.

DCE? Hate the guy but he has a habit of poking his neck in all the wrong places. Him and Foran probably aren't quite as good as Maloney/Pearce but have their days.

I even rate Rose. He only lasts 10 minutes max but is awkward to tackle and is passionate during those 5-10 minutes.

Will be a tough game but unless we have a rotten day I think we'll have Manly sized up. Of the other 2 teams in the top 4 they are the one I'd most like to play.

People's they have been in 4 GFs in 7 seasons.

No one rates them but they are always beating more fancied opposition. Not just this season, ALWAYS.

I believe we can win but anyone that doesn't rate them has NFI.

Man for man no matter anyone's bias they match us at least.

We have modelled our season on womanly, tough defence with unrelenting waves of attack.
