So who does roobo leave out of the gf ??

No denying we have the team to beat Manly in Sunday's GF. The backs are settled but Robbo will have to make a couple of extremely tough decisions when picking his run on forwards and his bench. It looks like they will all be available so who does he leave out? My run on pack would be - Hargreaves, Friend, Moa, SBW, Guerra with Cordner at lock. I reckon he has to have Morts come on for Frendy as he's done all season and LOD is the man for the prop rotation. So that leaves 2 bench spots and 5 players - FPN, Nappa, Aubo, Liu and Kennedy. We all know who can do what and whoever our super coach decides to go with for the run on side and the bench, will do the job. But players are going to miss out. Which ones ??

FPN to bench for Cords Napa can tackle so he gets the nod over Liu problem is Manly will target him like last time they didnt give him an inch hence a few errors...Id put him on to take DCE -thats his job

Liu would be the first to go, IMO, and it is well known that LOD is desperate to win a GF, so I think he'll be there as well. Maubs will be included to cover the backs, and Guerra has played himself in on form. Which means the last bench spot, IMO, is between Napa, Cords and MLK, but really just between Napa and Cords.

I think if he decides to play Cordner then Guerra will have to miss out on the 17. At no stage this season has he played Aubbo, Cordner and Guerra in the forwards when FPN and SBW have been available. Aubbo is a must for the 17 due to his ability to cover a backline injury. Cordner's best footy has been as a left second rower so if he's to play and oust someone it will have to be to play there and you can't then have two back rowers on the bench. If O'Donnell is fit he'll play and replace Liu or Napa surely and we need the insurance of Mortimer plus it gives Friendy a much needed rest in the middle.

toss up between lui and kennedy. lui makes better meters and gives less penalties but i think kennedy plays bigger minutes and is better defensively. plus kennedy gives us an extra 15 or so kilos in size!

While MK & LOD are powerful, they are also a problem with giving away the odd penalty or 3 as well as dropping the ball so I would play it safe and not include these two unless really necessary.

Yeah, he had a shocker the other night, he went over backwards for one try, so that hardly counts - and he just had to fall over the line for the second one. And the two big line breaks came to nothing ......

I would play maubs. His footwork and hole running are invaluable when opposition forwards get tired. Tough call for Robbo
