Souths do have some problems looming as I see it listed below.
1. Only Sam and George are any good of the Burgess boys, the other two are crap, only there to please Sam.
2. They need better players on the wings and centre's , very average bunch.
3. No ball handling skills amongst their pack, if up the guts and dying with the ball doesn't work, they have no other options, maybe with the exception of Issac Luke, he is always dangerous.
4. While Sutton had his best year , he is still prone to the rabbit in the headlights syndrome, and makes wrong decisions under pressure.
5. Have they signed anybody of significance for next season, I cant recall any.
6. Anyway its going to be another long hot pre season for them with that trophy cabinet still pretty bare.

Said the same thing yesterday about the Burgess boys. The vermin got so cocky, bringing out Mrs B and all, yet only 2 of them can play. Must agree about the centres, and when is someone at the Vermin going to realise Merritt cannot tackle (all 5 Manly tries were down that side).

Anyway, WHO CARES.

Let's make it another 40 odd years.

Have said all along that if Luke's surname was Smith and not Burgess he wouldn't be anywhere near the NRL. Same can be said for Tom at this point in time. The four brothers playing together is a novelty act at the moment. Its like the Bearded Lady at the circus...when you first see her it's all new and freaky, but after a while it just becomes sad.

Agree...I said similar before that having any more than 2 burgei in their top squad will hinder more than help South's chances

They still should have beat Manly, disappointed for them. Manly have basically the same team and the same plays they've been using for the last 5-6 years and they are still up there. That's unbelieveable. In saying that, they did hold Souths down alot and got away with it, this is what we need to be ready for. When they had the ball they tried to play touch footy with quick play the balls, this is how they will beat us if we end up losing.

I'm close to being equally happy that the vermin are out and we are in the GF. The verminites hate our team and us with such a passion that it borders on insanity. I don't actually hate the bunnies - just the verminites. They put the M in MONG!!!

They played touch football in the 2nd half as Souths allowed them to do so by having non existant m,arker defence In all m,y life of watching Rugby Leaue I have never ever seen such poor marker defence than what Souths produced in the 2nd half
