Took a lot of guts for him to do what he did yesterday. RIP

I lost my wife 2 months ago, and I doubt I would of had the internal strength to front up to a game of football on the same night, I have always liked Madge as a coach, and pushed for us to try for him, before they signed that disaster Smith, but he has grown even more in my opinion, my deepest sympathy to him and his his family, there is always another game, but only ever one mother.

I can only imagine how terrible that must be.
May you be granted the strength to carry on.
Try to remember and take comfort in the good times you both had together.

I do not like Souths.
I do not like some of the ways Maguire coaches them but respect others.
But every experience I have had or heard of relating to Maguire the man has been good, he is a decent guy and my thoughts go out to him and his familyThe Internet is a place for posting silly things
Try and be serious and you will look stupid

Feel sorry for Maguire and Souths , they deserved to make the GF but getting that lead so early made them go into their shell.
They also paid dearly for a few stupid mistakes. The game was won IMO, by shutting down Isaac Luke, and out-wrestling Souths.
Manly played like Melbourne, with quick play the balls, Souths needed to slow them down and up the tempo as well, very disappointing end.
