We may have been lucky the bulldogs were pinned before the grand final unlike 2009.

mate, the rules are the rules. The bulldogs broke them, we deserved to win it. A premiership is huge, Its not like we won it off sheer luck, didn't we win 9 in a row? Leading up to the gf? The Bulldogs should consider themselves extremely lucky not to have received the same treatment as Melbourne and been forced to release players. Instead, the Dogs were allowed to keep their illegally assembled team and even add to it (by signing Andrew Ryan).

I don't think the 2002 premiership should have any empty feeling about it.
The dogs were done for cheating and rightly so. How can they claim that the best team didn't win in '02 when they were 'illegally' the best team.
