The reason that the HGH of players is such a concern is because:

1) Peptides increase HGH in users

If it's elevated and if they are linked to Earl Grey... then ASADA have a valid concern.

If they were elevated because they just finished the Paleo Diet, just finished a heavy session at the gym, just woke up from REM sleep... then we will find out... but the timing of the articles are suspect.

You should realize that because these supposed tests were not ordered, properly authorized or consented to, nor conducted under conditions approved by anyone in authority at NRL or ASADA, they are completely meaningless and insignificant. There is simply no way anyone who matters will read anything into these "results".

It really is quite disgusting how the troubles of Cronulla, who refused to cooperate with ASADA, were swept under the carpet by the media (depicted them as heroes actually) while this episode, which has been dismissed by ASADA as insignificant, has been beaten and blown up beyond all proportion by the media.

Incidentally, my understanding is that 24 hours after an injection of human growth hormone it is undetectable by current immunoassays.

The media do what the media do, the roosters have had 2 weeks off in that time we've had 2 boring semis the Greenberg/ Barba thing won't go away this don't sit well with the NRL so they blow the whole thing with the ASADA probe with the roosters to the forefront. On the news tonight it was reported that ASADA are happy with everything Easts have disclosed.

Personally I think they have just handed the Rooster the biggest incentive to win, the boys are not going to take this
lying down, they will come out smoking.
The papers & reporters are stirring & trying whatever they can to pull us down, but they may have just struck the match winner
& inadvertantly done us a favour. This will not be our undoing it will be our triumph.

Hopefully all the reporters & the like will have to eat their words.
