You raised it yourself. Until the writs have been issued for court and/or a solicitor compels Fairfax to pull the article, one must assume what is said in the article is true.
The article could well be all true.
I see nothing in it though that says our players or club have done anything illegal.

The club should sue anyone who defames us.

Given how DT wants to use it as a hammer, the SMH hve gazumped them & its highly factual without the crap assumptions...

This is a positive as it answers the BS put out by Bourbon Bec.

I think ism was being sarcastic.

Great timing. How have they known about it this long and have only just published it? All another step towards a Southd premiership hey?

SMH is a LITTLE better than the DT but c'mon... don't mistake it for proper journalism.

              Spanner...
'You raised it yourself. Until the writs have been issued for court and/or a solicitor compels Fairfax to pull the article, one must assume what is said in the article is true.'

Without the innuendo, what FACTS exist?
              1) Sandor Earl has been busted.
              2) The Roosters did pre-season blood tests which they submitted to the NRL because 3 had high readings of a natural hormone (which is extremely common for elite athletes and it went down in all subsequent tests.) No allegations of wrongdoing have been made by ASADA or the NRL.

Why is it written as a big story full of innuendo rather than in 2 dot points like that? It's a STORY...

What exactly is proper journalism? Stories you agree with? Just because you don't like what it's about doesn't meant it's wrong.

                  I concur,

The article supports that the club acted & behaved with integrity but it poses the question 'why would test results reside on a phone not sanctioned by a NRL related governing body' rather one that is owned by a person of notoriety

From what I can gather by reading the articles we don't have a whole lot to be concerned about. I'm pretty sure ASADA would have been all over us if it was perceived we had done something wrong. The question that some people are pushing is how did the test results end up in the possession of a crime figure? Seeing as we didn't conduct or condone the tests, I'm sure we would be interested to know as well, but I think that question should be directed at Ben Darcy and Nubodi and not at the club

                      Precisely.

The potentially most damaging and concerning element being who provided the blood test results and why to the crime figure....most likely had nothing to do with our players or the club.

Maybe that's the reason why we offloaded him. This could be all his fault. I thought he was the smart one with his uni degree and all. And I reiterate COULD BE. He was the one that pushed this diet thing wasn't he?

I don't think he or any of our players have done anything wrong

I hope so. Ah this is just so disappointing. After all the good we've done this year, our name is being associated with this doping saga. There are so many things ruining rugby league and sensationalist journalism and the few scumbags out there who won't play fair are some of the contributing factors (and don't get me started on the referees). If it weren't for the Roosters, I wouldn't even pay attention. This game has gone to sh!t.

There might be something to this Yes Kennedy has done nothing wrong But his actions and asscociates had the potential to lead to what has come out in recent days
