  • Leilua - Newcastles danger man

He played great against the Storm - one of his best games. Reminded me a lot of Hodges/Fergusson at their best, as he was always a handful to tackle. He is finally showing the form which we waited years to see.

I am happy we got rid of him as I hate thugs like him...but I think he is a real danger man for the game this Saturday. Who does he match up against?

I always thought he was talented, can come up with some plays that others just can't. His biggest defect is his lack of speed, which is why he should be doing those things at second row. The way he stood over that player who got knocked out was just stupid and he was asking for a punch in the mouth, made him look really stupid when it was head clash not a big hit. He also has flipper hands so we just purposely throw passes at him so he'll inevitably drop it and it'll be a scrum, we don't need a kicking game for repeat sets.

IMO Smith's tactic was 'if he's not quite good enough for the 2nd row then put him out as a centre/winger'. Bl0wj0b was always a 2nd rower who wasn't quite good enough so has stayed outside.

Nearly made Origin so who knows? I prefer SKD, Bl0wj0b makes SKD look like a set of sure hands.

He's a bit of a danger man for Newcastle as well.
Rocks and diamonds type player. See if he can string two good games together on the big stage.

That's we're smiffy stuffed up. Looking at this years team, rts and tupou should have been in the team a lot more, especially tupou as rts was still finding his way in league. I'm this way Bj should have been second row, with morts 5/8 and braith in reggies lol

RTS was 17 at the time and still in NZ playing Union while Tupou was at the Eels.

Oh thought you meant 2010, well they both debuted last season, albeit very late last year but I doubt it would have helped our season much, kind of like Nofoaluma and Simona at the Tigers.

Lol even with the current team we have now, under Brian smith, I highly doubt we would be where we are now. So yeah I don't think anything or anyone could have helped us last year haha

I actually think Smith would be a good coaching director, like Gus. Cleans out all the filth and helps around the club but has little to do with the on field decisions.

Isn't that the role parramatta apparently offered him?

Maybe I'm not sure, could do a big clean out and with Hopate coming maybe he can be their Carney and they have a decent season next year, doubt it though.

Yeah, but I think it will take a lot more than Hopoate to turn them around lol. At least with Carney we already had a decent squad, Parra have got pretty much no one but hayne

BJ poses a serious danger to himself and his teammates on mad monday. But that's about it.
