Seriously, what hope are Newcastle this Saturday night ? I say, they haven't a hope in hell. In fact, I will be stunned if the Roosters don't put on a decent score against the knights.

Very much agree. I was away at work when they played Canterbury and only caught the first 20 minutes of the game. The way it was looking, I thought the Dogs would win comfortably. I was shocked when I saw the final score-line later that evening.

Yes i've seen them but if you think this will be a walk-over then you're bound to be disappointed. No idiot would ever think that any preliminary final game would be a "walk-over". A team going into the preliminary final with heaps of confidence is always a danger game.

Being confident is one thing while being over-confident is another.

I hope we win and i think we have a good chance, but i wouldn't underestimate the Knights either.

The last time a roosters team lost a prelim final, after being short priced favourites was in 1981. Newtown caused the boilover.
Won't be happening again. The knights forwards lack any penetration, whilst the halves won't threaten.

The centres are dangerous. The only way we can lose is......the roosters get pumped 12-3 in the penalties, and Newcastle have the perfect kicking game.
