Ever since the McIntyre system, when you had the 2 semis in the penultimate week, the minor premiers (or the highest ranked winner) have always played second. Usually it was the sunday afternoon, but in recent years its become the sat night.

So I don't think you can really use this as evidence supporting a bias Rooster agenda ..... besides with over a week before the GF night, I can't see it as a huge disadvantage to whoever goes through from this second semi.
