One question, does McQueen have a fractured larynx or is he having difficulty breathing or swallowing?

I've been hit in the throat during a football match and it was accidental and not too hard, I still sounded like Ian McFarlane for a week afterwards and could only drink alcohol.
    Fixed maaaaaaaaaaaaaaate.

    You know it makes sense.

Paul Crawley is calling it an elbow... so now the elbow extends all the way down to the hand does it?

was talking to a friend last night and he was saying he slowed down the JWH incident and at impact JWH fist is not clenched which would indicate a defensive action more than a striking action, don't know if the MRP will factor this in but they certainly do when grading swinging arm high tackles.

IF he is charged (I'm not sure he will be) I can't see how we won't fight it and can't see us losing WHEN we do fight it.

This doesn't surprise me at all.

In fact it wouldn't surprise me if Burgess get's off without even a single loading point, and JWH cops two weeks.

Just like it doesn't surprise me that there were three hightackles against us that weren't even penalised , let alone put on report in that souffs game.
              Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"

That is a key point fletch and should help him to get off. Plus the fact that his arm was already raised when spinning out away from the previous tacklers, there was no intent! Along with the fact he is entitled to defend himself and brace for impact.
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

                Here's looking at you, kid.

That's because it was an elbow

That's debatable I though it was more of the forearm.

What's for certain it was no where near his head as it's been reported.

Also did you see the Pomeroy incident on the Footy Show?

If Jared is charged it's a clear double standard.

You need to get your eyes checked buddy - all contact was the forearm.

you should have seen him carry on during the game. here are a few from his twitter account:

Has SBW ever been hooked? #padstow #maccas
(after SBW missed the tackle on inglis)

I'm going to vomit if these blokes don't shut up about SBW.

                          He was tackled.
                          (after Maloneys second try)

Shoreline not true indication. Walker and Farrell should have scored. Sam Burgess went close. Different result next time.
                          (obviously had money on souffs)

A similar incident (much worse in my view but I might be biased). He was placed on report but exonerated.

This was before his headslam on Shrek that wasn't worth a penalty - go figure
Yes, I saw that on the Footy Show yesterday.
Pomeroy leaned forward into the defender with his forearm in front of his face...just defending his own head, IMO.
JWH put his forearm up to defend his head from the tackler, exactly the same as Pomeroy did.

If JWH is charged and suspended then the Roosters should sue the NRL for blatant discrimination etc.
A stern warning is sufficient in this case.
