I fear we will be without him for 2 weeks and we will miss him badly.

Imagine if it was Burgess leading with the elbow on Napa.
Everyone would have been calling for a send-off and 8 weeks suspension from the cheating NRL....

I know this is a big call, but if JWH is suspended and misses the grand final, I don't believe the roosters can win the premiership. He is next to SBW, our most important player.

The best result would be 2 weeks. Would rather have lost last night, and had Hargreaves available

Surely he can't miss a game for that.

He was spinning out of a tackle and made first contact with the upper chest area.

McQueen made a right meal of it, as Souths players do.

I ****ing love that our boys never stay down. What a bunch of old school champs.

Tbh, I think they'll either suspend both Burgess and JWh or neither; for the sake of appearing impartial. I'd rather neither.

          Slater, Burgess... protected species.

He didn't lead with his elbow at all though. He had his forearm raised to fend and wasn't event looking when contact was made. As much as I hate the Burgii I couldn't be calling for a suspension if he did that.

If for some absurd reason he does get charged the club should fight 100% just use the Steven price 2004 defence 'my eyes were closed'.

Surely JWH will be fine, the rules change when it's finals time everyone knows that.

He will cop a grade 1 mate.

What I want to know is how the loading works.

I don't think anyone knows how the loading works, don't they just make it up as they go?

funny how all these extra points suddenly appear against roosters players?

                      NO CHARGE

He was turning & did not see the defender running at him till contact

He had no forward momentum & braced himself, his hand of the offending arm was also on the defenders shoulder...

                      accidental at worst

I explained the loading, if he gets a grade 1 he will miss two weeks, no way around it.

No charge. Turns from a tackle and reacts to protect himself. They wont rub him out, just like squirrel wont get cited.

Sorry mate I missed your post.

I think you will find that 3 of those previous charges have now expired.

One was two years ago and if the others were grade 1 they only last for 12 months. That would only leave his tackle from this year.

                              Is that correct?

I'm not sure how long the loading lasts but if 12 months then it would be reduced on what I initially said. So I guess we'll wait and see, but he really really shouldn't be cited at all.
