  • Before the Titans game

I thought we'd beat souffs and quite well, but now without LOD, Cordner and now RTS I feel we'll be fodder for the vermin. Our defense has gone out the door and our discipline is non existant. I just can not see how we'll win on Friday night, I hope that I'm wrong.

If we win on Friday night it will be a miracle.

          Not disagreeing, mate.
          Stranger things have happened, though.

for me it would be great if we won (which I can't see at the moment given injury situation) but more importantly is getting back to our successful structure, forwards rolling over the advantage line/getting into the arm wrestle, have to get rid of the stupid offloads and players running out of the defensive line creating massive holes.

it is amazing how quickly things can turn around in the NRL, for the first week of the finals we are likely to regain O'Donnell/RTS/Maubs and have a match under Kennedy's belt, if we can avoid total capitulation against the vermin I give us a good chance of beating either the Sea Eagle (likely opposition) or the Storm.

              This.
If they are to beat us we must make them earn every metre gained & every point on the board.

Well they did leak 18 unanswered points against tigers and only just won in the last 10mins

The Roosters are playing for the minor premiership and the worst we can do is come second. Some on here are carrying on like we have run our race, and will be pressed to win another game this year. Last time I looked we still had the best attack and defense in the league.

I hope they win tomorrow night, but if we play well and lose, I couldn't give a rats. Souths can have the minor premiership.

There is still plenty left in the tank at the Roosters. I'd rather beat the pricks in the grand final.

I can't see how on earth we could go on and win the comp heading into the finals on the back of three straight losses.

I'd be surprised if that has ever happened.

As such Friday's game is crucial.

This is why tomorrow is crucial. Not the farking minor premiership...... If I could I would crack a deal with Souths to take the minor premiership and us to win the game....

                        Exactly.

Robbo summed it up today when he said, "The minor premiership is not that important to us, but winning a game always is."

The only good thing about winning the Minor Premiership is making sure Souffs win nothing this year.

All we need is to be competitive, and to get some self belief back

                            That's all we need.

Even if we get beat tomorrow, if we show we can compete with them, we're back
