Keep in consideration that Jennings, RTS, SKD may be on world cup duty and these players will not be playing in the 9's

        1. Henare Wells
        2. Daniel Tupou
        3. Willis Meehan
        4. Michael Oldfield
        5. Nene MacDonald
        6. Daniel Mortimer
        7. Mitchell Pearce
        8. Nafe Seluini
        9. Samisoni Langi

That's a lot of speed. 1,2,4,5 are all super quick in the open. Wells looks like his pace has improved a lot since last year. Saw a clip of him for Newtown where Semi Radradra stepped past on the 40 and from a standing start Wells turned and went past about 3 other Jets' chasers to catch him five out, bit too late. But still he's insanely quick. I think Oldfield is quicker from sprint testing and Tupou isn't far behind him for the 100. MacDonald used to be lightning but he's over 100kg now. I'd say he's about on par with Tupou. Along with those 4, Seluini is super nippy out of dummy half, admittedly normally running past forwards. And actually Langi is suprisingly quick. I saw him mow down a Sharks winger from the other side of the field one time starting from behind him.

Pearce would be perfect for this format. Supremely fit, very quick over plus 60m, massive boot and has a great long passing game.

Would be good to see either Willis Meehan or Taane Milne get a run too. Meehan is pretty fit from his boxing, very quick for a 115kg bloke and he's an enthusiastic defender. Taane Milne i just want to see more of cos we only got a teaser before he had to finish up NYC to go back and play Schoolboy rugby.

Will these games be on 9 at all?

Yep actually not many from my team would be playing when i think about it. No tupou, oldfield, seluini or langi cos of tonga. No Morts cos of scotland. No MacDonald cos of PNG. No Meehan cos of Fiji.

Pearcey and Wells you're on your own...

If you can't play because of the world cup why are Gallen, Johnson etc. all excited?

The world cup starts way before the 9's so those players would be picked,,,,

Asif they'll take away the likes of shaun Johnson & sheck from playing the 9's not possible

You're kidding right? The RLWC final is on November 30 2013 and the 9's is 15-16 February 2014. Only thing stopping the likes of RTS, Johnson etc from playing would be injury. World Cup duty in Feb? What have u been smoking Muz?
