  • SBW needs to be very careful

All this hype about SBW vs burgess has me worried, if he goes out there with the same attitude he did when he played mason I can easily see him being charged with a high shot or shoulder charge, at this point of the season we can not afford him to miss any games, forget burgess SBW focus on getting the win

and the way he went out for Beau Knowsnothing, also seemed to affect his game.

He'd be better off this week just worrying about his game (and his one percenters), rather than trying to square up with Squirrel Burgess as the media has already been playing up.

Sonny will be okay. Don't worry. He is a big match player and a very experienced campaigner. He will help steady the boys. Also, lets not forget it but really the big matches start this week. I think he will be dirty with himself for his recent efforts and will be completely focused.

The big matches start next week... absolutely no point getting injured/suspended this week then missing crucial players during the finals. Let Souffs do that!!

Burgess suspended for a shoulder charge and GI injures his knee for the season pulling off a last gasp intercept try. Oh no... we lost the round 26 game :P

Mate I reckon this is a massive game this Friday in terms of momentum. Remember in 2008 we were top 4. Lost momentum, bundled out of the semis after two losses and it was all over. I think the team needs to make a statement this Friday.

Hopefully, Inglis goes down and stays down. That knee injury of his seems to be getting worse every week.

be interesting to see what refs are appointed.not only does sbw have to be careful they all need to when playing against these grubs by not over reacting like we did in the sharks game.

I reckon GI isn't as bad as they have made out, if he was, they would not of played him against a depleted tigers side. I think GI and Maguire are foxing and timing his run.

yeah that is why they are putting more and more strapping on his knee by the week

I have absolutely no respect for GI & his Hollywood antics

He has fooled the refs & comes under the 'protected species' category, he is a pussy

We need to do a Sharks on them & get under their skin, S Burgess is a sucker, bait him & then his bros will get distracted.

Meantime someone needs to shorten up Reynolds & Sutton...DONE

I'm sure someone said last week GIs injury is the same one Slater carried from Origin last year. And we all know how he ended the season.

I believe one of those ones that can't get any worse than it is with good management.

Playing with pain is mental. GI IMO is stronger mentally than a lot give him credit for.

Still their main weapon. But I hope we really target him.

Don't think so somehow. We have no momentum. Hope its not 2008 again but all indications point to it. We've lost our structure, collapsed defensively and its back to Pearce bombs again which are hopeless.
