  • Lote: France or Roosters?

Just found this little movie on youtube... has Lote talking about his future.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lL4B4YykgyY

Does this give insight or is it just light-hearted chat?

I don't mind us signing Tuqiri as a replacement for Soliola. Only if we don't have to spend loads of $$$ on him.

I would have preferred a young and cheaper power centre like Esileki Tonga or Daryl Millard, they were the two better ones off contract, and Delaney would have been alright as well. But with them all signed up somewhere now, Tuqiri might be alright.

The only reason i think Tuqiri would be a good signing is because he will attract the fans.

You think he would? He doesn't really have any personality like Sailor. Maybe for one or 2 matches but unless he set the house on fire, I doubt he would really bring in more fans.

Given the way he is whoreing himself all over the world, it would seem money is his primary motive.

If he stays in Sydney, he'll go to the Tigers. They have given him much more money than us.

But in the movie he says he likes the SFS...
He likes the coffee shop nearby...etc maybe this is him saying that he's thinking seriously about the Roosters (that or the bunnies) and isn't really considering going to France.

Bunnies play out of Telstra, the Tigers play out of the SFS too and his house is in Balmain...

the tigers train at concord oval we train at kippax lakes kippax is easier to get to from balmain so his house position makes the roosters a more viable option if thats what he is basing his selected club on

Lote also played for the West Harbour Pirates, their home ground.......Concord Oval so technically he would have his route already set out and can probably get their quicker than taking the cross city tunnel to the East.
