  • On field frustration and a lack of composure

I thought we totally blew our stack last night.

    It was embarrassing.

Pearce couldn't take the pressure, FPN was lashing out like an animal and SBW looks like he's struggling with the weight of important decisions. Even Maloney was blowing up deluxe.

Frustration is one thing, but our ability to get on with it without carrying on like Anasta has been our saving grace this season.

It was nowhere to be seen last night.

From what I've seen in Mini's absence, Cordner is the only one with real captaincy qualities.

    Geez we miss him.

Given how frustrating it was to watch the game as a supporter, I can only imagine how bad it would of been on the field, being on the receiving end of that shite.

Yes there was some stuff going on that was out of character Hopefully it was a one off as that has been pretty much non existant this year before last night
I respect all our moderators here. Past present and even future. Always have done and always will do a wonderful job.

Team Robbo will fix it up by the week end .............like i said earlier we need to punish some one.

I thought they looked composed in the second half which they won 22-6, I was very proud of them the way they fought back and against such adversity. It shows what a great coach and manager of men Robertson is. They probably would've won if the Sheck try had been allowed.

            This.

JWH and Baloney and $BW and PearceOrf aren't cool under pressure.

Mini plays like he's stoned. Reffs dig that.

            You know it makes sense.

If the RTS try was given cronulla would have crumbeled 100%. They just wanted the game finished, don't care what anyone says.

It's the game that we were always going to have, at some stage. I wasn't surprised.
Injuries & suspensions are always the ones to get you. Replacing & blooding new players disrupts the whole plan.

Better it is out of the way & TRobbo can address each issue. They will learn by it & be better prepared for the run to the finals & beyond.

Back on track this week & belt the Tittens.

It's our biggest weakness in my view and it showed last night. If you niggle, get up in our faces and come up with one or two big plays early, you win. It's the biggest problem with having a young team with few cool heads in it. You wouldn't see it at Melbourne, put it that way.

I believe last week the Tigers in the first half showed the whole of Rugby League how to beat us, and the Sharks executed it last night.
If other teams come straight out of the gates firing and very aggressive our whole team seems to get baited into their bullsh!t. The boys need to keep there cool and not panic nor buy into the oppositions bullsh!t.

I agree with what you say about Mini/Cordner ... But as for the rest of it, I think its complete BS.

We got blown off the park in the 1st half. No team would have been able to withstand what the Sharks threw at us in the 1st half.

2nd half, no other team would have been able to get back in the ball game like that.

IMO Pearce was one of our best in a losing team. FPN has never been able to stay composed even when we are playing well.

If we didnt have the ability to get on with it the scoreline would've been 30+ to 0

I'm looking at it from the other way Pipe, this game showed why we need to extend LOD's contract for at least one more year. With him out there we are not AS dominated and we keep our cool. We needed to match them physically and we didn't do that for the first 40.

                        Chook.

Old heads on the decline are underrated in a young, exciting team.

Loved it when we signed LOD this year.
Give him another. He would have been the difference last night, imo.

They would have baited the shit out of him and likely got him I'd say.

But IF he can stay cool I now have to admit he will be a big asset in the finals for us.
