dragons were the best team that yr and the yr before.

we are 1st so far this yr, so heres hoping the best team wins again.

When you look at us in 2010, parra in 09 and warriors in 11, none played consistent footy, and all three were lucky to make the grand finals from 4th or worse I believe? all 3 fell by the waste side in the yr after making the grand final. Manly,storm have built their Consistency, souths are looking confident now too, and chooks have had a great season of Consistency and ability to show they can beat adversity of penalties and decisions against us.

I call bullshit. They only looked good because they got away with 1000 forward passes every game and their outside backs where allowed to stand offside for most of the time.
Look at 2011 when they were not allowed to do these things anymore and lo and behold they were not that flash

Totally agree. Amazes me how much people go on about the 2010 GF. The game was there for the taking at half time, but our inexperience and inconsistency wasn't enough for St George's disciplined football.

We were never the best team that year. We were about 4th/5th, we just happened to strike it lucky when it mattered. We over achieved in 2010 which lulled all into a false sense resulting in miserable 2011/12.

The most important factor about 2010 is that Melbourne were not in the semis. End. Of. Story.
Funny how people always mention 2002 and the Bullcheats not in the comp but seem to forget about 2010.
Lest we forget that the cheating, rorting Storm were not in the semis. Who knows, we might not have even made the GF.
Either way, always remind your Dragqueen loving friends that they are as much 'Claytons Premiers' in 2010 as we were in 2002.
